How do I get an API key?
Create a free account at platform.keirolabs.cloud, open API Keys and create a key. It starts with keiro_ and is shown once, so copy it. New accounts get 750 credits, no card.
I get 401 Unauthorized
Send the key as a Bearer token: Authorization: Bearer keiro_.... MISSING_AUTH means no header reached us; INVALID_API_KEY means the key is wrong or was revoked. Create a new one under API Keys.
I get 429 Too Many Requests
You hit your plan's rate limit. Lite search allows 15 requests a minute on the free tier, 60 on Essential, 300 on Pro and 600 on Startup. Wait the seconds in the Retry-After header and back off exponentially, from 1s up to 60s. See plans.
My credits ran out
Upgrade or buy a credit pack under Billing. Subscription credits reset each billing cycle and are used first, then pack credits. Pack credits expire 12 months after your latest top-up.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Open Billing in your dashboard. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time; cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current billing period.
Is the API down?
Check the status page. If it shows operational and you still see errors, post the error and the time it happened on Discord or open a support case.
What's the difference between Keirolabs and browserfoundry?
Keirolabs is the company. browserfoundry is our web data API: search, extraction and research. One Keirolabs account and key work for all of it, at platform.keirolabs.cloud.
